  Marilyn Innes
M.Ed, Post Grad Dip Teaching (ICT) Diploma of Teaching, Cert. in Educational management, T.E.S.O.L

C.E.O.
Marilyn is the owner and founder of World English Service Ltd. It has been her vision to see a professional company evolve that caters for all areas of the growing ESL market in Korea and ultimately the rest of Asia. Her philosophy has always been to provide a culturally sensitive and well structured service that would became a leading model of professional standards, and to facilitate joint business venture opportunities in all aspects of the ESL markets of Asia.

Until 7 years ago Marilyn had been fully employed in educational management in New Zealand schools, and over the last 20 years has worked as a NZ state school principal for 6 years, senior school management for 8 years, and owned her own business in the retail sector. She has been actively involved as a teacher tutor through the Otago University and College of Education Bachelor of Teaching degree course, and had leadership in computer publications, school camp leadership, sports and swimming coaching as well as a multitude of other educational opportunities.

In 1998 Marilyn went to Korea to live and work as an English teacher in Anyang Gyonggi Do, South Korea. This overseas experience was undertaken as a sabbatical leave from her NZ school employer. Shortly after she returned she established this company and has now watched it grow into a leading international Human Resources company specializing in English Education for Koreans.

Over the last 7 years she has established excellent contacts with many schools, franchise head offices and business owners wishing to employ teachers in Korea. Marilyn continues to travel back to Korea frequently to complete new business negotiations with employers and to monitor new developments in the Korean ESL marketplace.
