Background of the Program

World English Service Ltd has operated the TeachKoreaNZ and TeachKorea-USA teacher recruitment programs to Korea since 1999.
A comprehensive employment advice service has always been offered to all applicants, no matter where they currently live in the world.

All applicants are supported with professional teaching support and training, classroom management advice, cultural understanding training, and free information brochures

In the last few years the employment market has changed a number of times because of a number of political and social factors.
There has been a growing pattern for jobs becoming available in the state schooling system as well as in hagwons (private language institutes)

In 2007 World English Service Ltd, opened an office in Korea and also became an officially accredited recruitment agency to EPIK and the Gyeongsangnam Office of Education

The company has always provided a free general help desk service for for genuine persons wanting general information about working in Korea, employment contract law and conditions, visa regulations or Korean education systems and employment processes.
