General Provisions about Employment
|
Situations applicable to the 'replacement or refund to an employer'. Provisions being applied within the first three months only.
NOTE: W.E.S must be made aware of any serious problems or concerns from or about an employee prior to any dismissal being undertaken by an employer, so that all ways of fixing the problem can be assessed before dismissal is implemented.
- The teacher placed by W.E.S being totally unsuitable, or unable to do the work involved, despite training and advice from both W.E.S and school management.
- If W.E.S is not notified by the employer of a problem with a teacher or fails to inform W.E.S of any help already undertaken to remedy a problem, prior to a request for replacement teacher, then W.E.S will not be financially responsible.
- The teacher employed does not arrive to start work after having an E2 visa letter issued, or suddenly leaves their employment without correct and legal notice, with the obvious intention of not returning to work at the school, or has organised to commence work at another location and not continue working at the sponsored school, or intends to depart from Korea
- Information becomes available that the teacher has falsified documents, qualifications and information for employment or has lied about previous medical or criminal history declared to the employer and W.E.S.
