Responsibilities of World English Service Ltd

World English Service Ltd., henceforth known as (W.E.S).
- All expenses related to the negotiations of a contract and placement of a teacher into a school in Korea. This does not include any expenses incurred personally by the teacher, such as personal phone calls, emails or faxes made outside of the W.E.S offices.
- W.E.S will arrange whenever possible if requested, a time and place for a telephone, or Internet interview between a job candidate and an employer.
- To provide to the employer, comprehensive personal information specific to available applicants. To have checked the applicants as suitably qualified, medically healthy, and able to meet immigration eligibility to receive a work visa in Korea.
- W.E.S will organize the delivery of all documents required for employment and visa issuance procedures, in a quick and efficient manner. This includes a notarized copy of a graduation degree, an original transcript or academic records, passport photo, resume, and a photocopy of a passport insert.
- W.E.S will give the following information to the job applicant: A full explanation of all contract conditions, such as the schools? required tasks, hours, student levels, housing, overtime rates, special payments, airfares and allowances.
- To coordinate or organize as requested an employee's air travel to Korea and to ensure arrangements are in place for the employee to be met upon arrival into Korea and assisted with settling into their new country and to assist an employee to source up-to-date information on travel and medical insurances and medical immunizations applicable.
- To provide as much information as possible to the employee in the way of publications, brochures, maps, website general information etc. for their departure to Korea and for the full term of their contract. For the full 12 months of a visa employment contract term. W.E.S will offer professional and cultural advice, mediation, and support information (within our means and skill areas) to both parties as to what they could do to resolve general difficulties and misunderstandings related to contract employment areas only. It is then up to both party's to decide how to best use this information.
- To guarantee that all employment placement information will be kept private to the parties involved, W.E.S will not divulge any placement information to any third parties without the written authorization of all parties involved.
- W.E.S staff may make recommendations to teaching candidates about job situations and contracts, but will not attempt to influence, coerce, or sway the candidate into a final decision and acceptance of a contact. Once a candidate has accepted a contract and begun work at a school, W.E.S will not support that teacher to find other employment while they are still bound by visa sponsorship to the contracted school.
- To guarantee to an employer that for the first 3 months visa sponsored placement of a teacher, that they can request either a replacement teacher, or a refund of any recruitment fee paid to W.E.S, if the teacher placed by W.E.S is classified as unsuitable to continue in employment as set out in this Terms and Conditions document. If after the first 3-month period the teacher is still in employment, and contract conditions are being met, there is no refund or replacement offered by W.E.S, however, W.E.S will continue to act as a non-legal advisory agent in the advent of any future dispute, if requested by the teacher or the school.
- In no way will W.E.S be held accountable by either party (employer or employee) for any unforseen or unexpected changes that may happen in a negotiated employment contract, after the contract is signed and visa issuance undertaken.
